Boxford WI meets the first Wednesday of each month at 2.00 pm in Boxford Village Hall.

We are a lively group covering a wide age range and we enjoy doing a lot of different activities, often involving some consumption of food, but not necessarily involving jam! We have a variety of speakers at our meetings including a representative from the East Anglian Air Ambulance, who provided us with a fascinating insight into their vital work. In the last year we have also heard about a range of topics including Tales from the Bench, The Witch-hunters of East Anglia and Patchwork and Quilting. After one meeting we were shown how to use the village defibrillator by the trained volunteers, and at the end of another we were given a guided tour of the Bell Tower.

If you're interested in reading: we run a very successful, lively Book Club. Perhaps you're a crafty person, in which case our Craft Club may be your thing, or if you enjoy eating out, we have a Lunch Club to entice you. We also have a lively Walking Group, which usually ends the day with a delicious afternoon tea - we said most things involved food! Whatever appeals to you there is sure to be something to capture your interest at Boxford WI.

Why not give us a try and come along as a visitor (only £3.00) You can be sure of a warm welcome and an interesting and enjoyable afternoon.
