High Street, now known as Broad Street, Boxford c1914 This postcard shows the Maltings, which if you look closely are continued on the opposite side of the road where today only the lower half of the wall remains. The White Hart has it's railings and original sign and an extension to the front. The Fleece has a canopy over the window.

Broad Street, Boxford. The White Hart has been painted showing Tudor beams on the upper levels. C. Stanley's shop has a C.E. Sissons of Hadleigh fish van outside. The road is just dirt. Turners name on what is now the Coffee Box.

The Smock Mill

Boxford, Smock mill with circular sail and fantail c1875. The circular sail was fitted in 1861, there were only about four mills that were fitted with this type of sail.
