Coming driving - you may improve

We British are not a boastful race, in fact we tend generally to be self-denigratory, but there is one skill we all proudly claim - we all think we are first-class drivers of a motor car.
But, are we? Is our standard of driving all that it might be?
Boxford people are being given the opportunity of finding out for themselves whether they really know all the answers. An Advanced Driving Course, conducted by Police officers (all holders of the 1st class Police Driving Certificates) starts at Boxford Primary School on Monday, February 9, at 7.30 p.m.
The syllabus covers all aspects of driving in six theory sessions, finishing with a practical session on the Suffolk Police Motor Club skid-pan at Martlesham.
It would be most helpful if those who are interested would contact Mr. John Carter, Centre of Community Activities, Stoke-by-Nayland, Colchester, but it is of course possible to enrol on the first night of the course.
You never know, however good a driver you are, you may learn hust that something which could save you such a lot of trouble.
